On Wednesday, emergency services were forced into action to treat four injured in less than 90 minutes.

Shortly after 5pm, a car and an ambulance collided on the CR141 between Wasserbillig and Mompach, leaving one person injured.

At 6.20pm, a pedestrian was hit by a car and injured in the process. Around the same time, a motorcyclist suffered a fall on the CR226 between Itzig and Contern, also suffering injuries.

In Kirchberg, a car collided with a tram around 6.30pm. One person was injured in the accident.

In Bettembourg, firefighters were deployed shortly before 6pm to extinguish a car that had erupted in flames. No injuries were reported.
