The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps had their hands full on Wednesday night and Thursday morning, as a series of incidents plagued the Grand Duchy.
On Wednesday, a car and a motorbike collided between Bettembourg and Dudelange at around 6pm, leaving one person with injuries.
Not long after, a house fire took place on Rue de Weiler-la-Tour in Hassel, causing material damage, while another traffic collision occurred at the Glück roundabout shortly before 8pm, leaving two injured.
The accidents continued into Thursday, as a car collided with a motorbike on the A3 motorway towards the capital shortly before 7am.
At around 8am, a person was knocked down by a car on Rue des Ecoles, Niederkorn, suffering injuries in the process. Two more people were injured in Eich at 9am after their vehicle struck a signpost, and on the A4 motorway between Esch and the capital, yet another person was hurt when a car and a lorry collided.
Finally, fire fighters were called out to Reisdorf at 9.20am after a chimney caught fire, resulting in material damage.
