The price of diesel has risen sharply since Saturday morning in Luxembourg, as has the price of SP 95.

The downward trend in diesel prices that began last Friday was rather short-lived. After three falls in eight days, the price of diesel is on the rise again.

During the night of Friday to Saturday, the price of diesel recovered 6.1 cents. As a result, a litre is sold at €1.810 as of Saturday morning at the pump in Luxembourg.

The price of SP 95, which had also fallen on Wednesday morning, followed the same trend. The increase is smaller, but the price per litre is still raised by 3.5 cents. The price of SP95 will be €1.648 as of Saturday.

On the other hand, the price of SP98 remains unchanged. It had risen by 1.3 cents on Tuesday and remains at €1.874.

It should be noted that the price of top quality heating oil (10 ppm S) has risen by 5.9 cents to €1.228/litre, as has that of standard quality (50 ppm S), which has risen by 6 cents to €1.229/litre.
