The police think that these acts are not the work of a single perpetrator, but rather of a group of people.
Several acts of vandalism have been committed in the locality of Parc Hosingen since 15 August. Unknown individuals stole a bench and a wooden table on the N10 between Kohnenhof and Eisenbach.
Buildings in various parts of the municipality, especially in the vicinity of Consthum, have been tagged. In addition, the bus shelter at the "Um Schinker" stop on the N7 was the target of arson. An illegal rubbish dump was also discovered in a street parallel to the N7 near Hosingen.
In Heinerscheid, between 30 and 31 August, unidentified individuals set fire to a rubbish bin that had been placed under the awning of a municipal administration building.
In this context, the police are looking for witnesses who have recently seen suspicious individuals in their community or who have information about the above-mentioned acts.
