Two people were injured in separate incidents on Thursday afternoon, according to the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps.

At 1.45pm on Thursday a vegetation fire was reported on Schoulwee, Hoscheid-Dickt, requiring the assistance of the air ambulance helicopter.

One person was injured in the fire, which was also attended by Ettelbruck paramedics, the Nordstad ambulance, and fire fighter crews from Hosingen, Putscheid and Clervaux.

At around 4.00pm, a van crashed between Mullerthal and Grundhof, leaving one person injured. Beaufort fire fighters were at the scene, accompanied by an ambulance from Echternach.
