Shortly after 4am, the police took notice of a motorist who was driving erratically and without any lights through Rue Adolphe Fischer in Luxembourg City. The driver was pulled over and found to be intoxicated. The driving licence was withdrawn.

On the N31 between Bascharage and Pétange, another drink-driver was caught by the police at around 2am and lost their driving licence.

Finally, another driver struggled to get out of a parking space between Käerjeng and Belvaux. While checking the driver, the officers noticed the smell of alcohol. A breathalyser test revealed that the motorist was inebriated. The officers issued a temporary driving ban.
