As announced by Mobility Minister François Bausch, speed cameras will be installed in the Stafelter, Grouft and Gousselerbierg tunnels of the A7 by the end of this year.

The cost of this equipment amounts to 1.7 million euros, including maintenance work. These details were provided by François Bausch in response to a parliamentary question from Liberal MP Max Hahn.

Since 2015, 115 accidents have occurred in these three tunnels and in the smaller "Krounebierg" tunnel in Mersch.
