Last year, the organisation Planning Familial provided close to 3,000 people with medical consultations, reveals the organisation's annual report for the year 2021.

Planning Familial also helped 60 women who lacked health insurance last year. The organisation further announced that they provided trainings in the area of sexual health to 8,000 people in 2021.

Ainhoa Achutegui, president of the organisation's Administrative Council, emphasised that there are still countries in the world where women are at risk, citing the United States' unfavourable ruling on abortion rights as a recent example.

Another issue that was highlighted in the report is that there is a general increase in conflicts and violence between family members.
