On Sunday night, police were called to intervene in a dispute happening on Rue du Fort Neipperg in Luxembourg City.
Once officers arrived at the scene, one man tried punching another person in the face. Officers thus decided to take the attacker to the station as he represented a threat to himself and to others. During the ride, the man was still agitated and managed to damage two police vehicles. He was only able to calm down once they got to the station.
Drink drivers
At 9.40 pm on Sunday, a motorist crashed into a tree on Rue Mme Mayrisch de Saint Hubert in Dudelange. The driver suffered injuries in the process and was brought to a hospital for a check-up. As her alcohol test was positive, police revoked her license.
A reckless driver caught the attention of a police patrol in Luxembourg City at 4.15 am on Monday. A subsequent check showed that the man was drunk, which is why officers revoked his license.
