Last night, the police revoked the licenses of two motorists for drink driving.
An accident occurred on Avenue Kennedy in Kirchberg at midnight on Thursday. The responsible driver crashed his car into a roadside tree, which broke off and fell onto other vehicles on the road. Officers revoked the man's license after a positive alcohol test.
Two hours later, police identified another drink driver at the Schuman roundabout in Limpertsberg. Officers removed the driving license after the man tested positive for alcohol.

A pedestrian was hit by a car on Rue Clairefontaine in Diekirch at 7.30 a.m. on Friday. The person was injured in the process and was treated by emergency service teams from Bettendorf and Nordstad.
