German authorities detained the young Luxembourgish man during the night from Friday to Saturday.
Officers from the Trier police department found the man visibly intoxicated while patrolling the city. When they subjected him to an identity check, they found a small amount of hashish and decided to take him to the station.
On their way there, the man insulted the officers and turned increasingly aggressive until they eventually cuffed him. The alcohol test came back positive. Authorities then collected a blood sample before driving the man back home. He was charged with resisting public order.
