Sports fans will be able to tour the facilities in groups of up to nine people, starting at 9am and lasting throughout the day until 6pm. The tours of the stadium will be organised by the Luxembourg Tourist Office, offering a behind-the-scenes look at areas which are not usually open for public access. These will include the changing rooms, press areas, the tunnel leading to the pitch, and the VIP areas.
Tours will last around 60 minutes and will be available in different languages. Visitors must be able to show a CovidCheck certificate prior to entry. There are no facilities offering coronavirus tests on the spot. Special wheelchair accessible tours can be booked via optin@optin.lu. More information on tickets and booking the tours can be found at the website (www.stadedeluxembourg.lu).
Visitors will also have the opportunity to participate in the #BeActive Day which is also taking place on 26 September. A number of workshops and activities will be on offer for participants. This initiative by the Ministry of Sport is designed to encourage people to participate in regular sporting activities. A CovidCheck certificate will again be required for participants.
