The latest figures from the Ministry of Health show that 131 new cases of coronavirus were discovered over the last 24 hours.
No new deaths from Covid-19 were reported, meaning the total death toll in the Grand Duchy remains at 819.
7,592 tests were conducted. The positivity rate was 1.73%
Despite the recent increase in cases, hospitalisations remain low: there are currently five patients in standard hospital care with confirmed Covid-19 infections, up one from yesterday, with only one patient in intensive care (unchanged).
As of yesterday, there were 1,355 active infections in Luxembourg, while 69,836 people have recovered from the virus.
365,471 people have received their first vaccine dose in Luxembourg. 267,429 people are fully vaccinated.
As of yesterday, the R rate is at 1.36, down from the previous figure of 1.54.
