The latest figures from the Ministry of Health show that 44 new cases of coronavirus were discovered in the last 24 hours.
One new death from Covid-19 was reported, leaving the total death toll in the Grand Duchy at 818.
6,665 tests were carried out over the last 24 hours, with 44 coming back positive. The positivity rate was therefore 0.66%.
There are currently 16 patients in standard hospital care (down one). The number in intensive care has dropped by two to five.
As of Tuesday, there were 893 active infections in Luxembourg, while 68,316 patients have recovered from the virus.
232,381 people have received their first vaccine dose in Luxembourg. 123,941 of those have received a second dose.
As of Monday, the R rate is at 0.99.
