CoronavirusCivil service union criticises government vaccination strategy

RTL Today
The Confederation of Public Servants (CGFP) issued a press release on Thursday morning in which they lament the lack of a clear concept and plan in the vaccination campaign.

The union finds it incomprehensible that teachers and educators are not prioritised in the strategy, that first responders are vaccinated but not police officers, or that prison inmates come before prison guards.

Furthermore, the confederation is concerned about the lack of willingness to get vaccinated displayed by the country’s health care workers. The statement thus advocates that politicians begin thinking about introducing alternative measures.

Finally, CGFP demands a meeting with government representatives to address the aforementioned issues.
