Under strict coronavirus measures driven hunts continue to be organised in Luxembourg.

A battue was organised in Lellingen, in the Éislek region, for wild boar across an area of 110 hectares.

The groups are made up of a maximum of 10 hunters who must maintain social distance and wear face masks at all times. Around 45 hunters took part in the forest hunt, including Marc Reiter, who has followed his father's and grandfather's footsteps in their passion for hunting.

Wild boar hunting is permitted until 31 January; without dogs until the end of February.

The hunt began at 10am but no boar were sighted, so the day was called off at noon.
