Thousands of passengers who had their Ryanair flights cancelled in the summer of 2018 must be contacted by the airline before 5 January 2021, a Belgian court has ruled.
The no-frills airline cancelled hundreds of flights due to crew strikes. To this day Ryanair has not compensated its passengers booked on those flights for the cancellations.
As Luxembourg passengers could also be affected, the Luxembourg Consumer Protection Association points out that people can also send an email to acr.tefb@just.fgov.be if they do not want to wait for the Ryanair email.
In this case, it is important to indicate the date and destination of the flight, as well as the desire to participate in the compensation process.
