The work accident occurred on Saturday morning around 10.30 am on a building site located along the road from Longwy to Pétange.

It was while working on the structure of a building that a man fell about six metres down. He was very seriously injured, and it is unknown whether he will survive.

After the first aid administered by a SAMU doctor, the victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The Labour and Mines Inspectorate (ITM) was alerted and an officer was despatched to the site to analyse the circumstances of the accident.
