Police reported several incidents on the Grand Duchy's roads on Saturday afternoon.

Around 4pm on Saturday, a driver lost control of their car between Kehlen and Mamer, resulting in the car flipping over. Both people inside the vehicle had to be cut out by emergency services. The passenger suffered serious injuries following the crash.

A motorcyclist was left with severe injuries after speeding up in order to pass a car near Dippach station at 5.15pm. The car turned left as the motorcyclist attempted to overtake, knocking him off his bike. Paramedics treated the man for his injuries before he was taken to hospital.

Police also carried out checks on a number of motorists who drew attention due to their erratic driving.
