
Romain Bausch filled the role of CEO from 1995 until 2014, before becoming the company’s president. Upon further inquiry, Bausch explained already having taken the decision to step down last year, noting he had served the company long enough. A change of generations would now be needed, which he helped set up during his interim period with the directing board.
German Frank Esser took over reign at SES in February, having been recruited from the French telecommunications company SFR.
